Calling All Filmakers.... 

So you have seen videos on You Tube and maybe even created one or two yourself? Well lets see how good you really are. This year's race for the Cross Diocesan Youth Rally will start the Diocese of Syracuse's first ever Video Challenge for all 7th-12th grade students interested in competing as a team or individuals to create a 2-5 minute video, mpeg, mov, avi, flv or wmv. Each entry must be either a part of a parish youth group, a parish or one of the Catholic schools of the Diocese of Syracuse. We want to make sure you don't call your cousin in Los Angles who works for Disney and have them turn in a video for the competition. The winning entries will not only get fame and bragging rights, but some really cool prizes. The top winning videos will be awarded at the race for the Cross Rally.

The due date to submit your entry or entries (yeah more the better) is postmarked Friday February 27th 2009.
